Snow Down (Original Demo)

from by Todd Parker

From the first "Witch" tape, recorded in February 1993, Snow Down was later also remade by Tadpoles for they 1998 Smoke Ghost album. Written and recorded while looking out the window of the 2nd Ave apartment while it was indeed snowing on a cold NYC winter day. Had just returned from a short trip to Montreal where it was even colder and snowier. I was thinking of the Snowdon stop on the Montreal metro and it morphed into Snow Down.

Its snowing, cool out all is fine
And my eyes are bugging out of my mind
And my ears are falling out of my head
And I fear, honey, that we are dead

You see, here the weather doesn't change
Its all you can do to stop and rearrange
Its snowing, cool out all is fine
And my eyes are bugging out of my mind

Its snowing, cool out all is fine
