Sense (Original Demo)

from Presents The Farm Tapes, Vol. 2 by Todd Parker

From the first "Witch" tape, recorded in February 1993, Sense was later remade by Tadpoles for their 1998 Smoke Ghost album. Inspiration was a haunting tune by Kramer (who was working with Tadpoles at the time on the He Fell Into The Sky album,) from his album The Guilt Trip.

Take a look around and see what you can find
Follow me down to the sea

Stop along the way at a place that we can hide
The lock on the door is the key

A lady gathers grass and watches where she's been
She hopes none of her neighbors will see

She's stepping inside of the bus that's turning green
For once in her life she is free
