Nazareth (Original Demo)

from Presents The Farm Tapes, Vol. 2 by Todd Parker

One of my favorite songs, Nazareth was recorded for Tadpoles' Far Out album, with Nick Kramer taking on the lead vocals and slightly revamped lyrics. Nazareth was an East Village candle shop that sold a variety of treats and was the namesake for this tune. This is from the second "Witch" tape recorded in 1994.

Nazareth ~
You're taking my mind
You're taking my money
You're taking my time

You're making my mind
You're making me money
You're filling my time

Its just like a train
That's going insane
That's leaving today

Please make me deal
With that I would kill
So I can feel real

Can you spare me dime
Cause I want to get high
If I can't I will cry

I love all your lights
They really shine bright
Man you're right out of sight

I'll take you to bed
A dream in my head
Until I am dead

You're taking my mind
You're taking my money
You're taking my time
