I've been waiting for my valentine Been so long since you've been mine Keep me waiting here all the time I'll close my eyes and watch the windows fly Second season of the wicked witch Caught me thinking 'bout what follows it A winter storm and there's no place to hide I think I'll get inside my valentine Valentine, you get me high

Thats no way to be now I'm gonna show you somehow That's no way to be You're surely gonna lose the key All along you were invited To end your trip with me All along, so frightened That's all this will ever be
6.
Take a look around and see what you can find Follow me down to the sea Stop along the way at a place that we can hide The lock on the door is the key A lady gathers grass and watches where she's been She hopes none of her neighbors will see She's stepping inside of the bus that's turning green For once in her life she is free
7.
We can't make up our minds Good help is hard to find Sincerely we're ok If this was some other day We can't make up our minds We can't make up our minds We can't make up our minds If you want to beat my brain Won't cause me any pain Just don't try to get inside I have nothing left to hide If you want to beat my brain Won't cause me any pain Just don't try to get inside I have nothing left to hide I have nothing left to hide I have nothing left to hide We can't make up our minds We can't make up our minds We can't make up our minds We can't make up our minds I have nothing left to hide I have nothing left to hide I have nothing left to hide I have nothing left to hide
8.
Sunday morning felt like taking a walk Went down to the station I could not talk The barber man asked me boy, where have you been If you find my brain I think I need a trim Tell me when you lost it and I will stop Ran her fingers through my hair without a drop We had a cup of tea and said goodbye Tell me when you lose it baby, and I won't cry
9.
Its snowing, cool out all is fine And my eyes are bugging out of my mind And my ears are falling out of my head And I fear, honey, that we are dead You see, here the weather doesn't change Its all you can do to stop and rearrange Its snowing, cool out all is fine And my eyes are bugging out of my mind Its snowing, cool out all is fine
10.
Since I've been gone a long time You, waiting around for the sunshine Since I, I can't see No-one will be like me Since I've been gone a long time I'm waiting around for the sunshine Don't expect to be there soon And I come back to you Don't expect to be there soon When I come back to you When I come back When I come back When I come back to you.

about

The Farm Tapes Series features demos, finished recordings and sonic experiments recorded between 1985 and 2001 by Todd Parker with the only requirement being that the recordings were produced on a cassette 4-track machine. A Fostex X-15 was used until 1989 and from then on a Yamaha MT3X was the primary recorder.

Volume 2 - Witch

The Farm Tapes, Vol. 2 contain recordings that span the era from 1993-1994 in between the Tadpoles recording the He Fell Into Sky and Far Out albums. During this time, after the Tadpoles were a fully fledged live band with a distinctive sound and approach, I felt the need to form a separate project that I called "Witch" in order to experiment and to record ideas that may or may not have been Tadpoles-appropriate material. As it turned out, a few of these tunes ended up remade by Tadpoles, such as Nazareth (on Far Out album), Sense, Snow Down (on Smoke Ghost album), while Disconnect appeared in a remade form many years later on the first Todd Parker and The Witches album, Greetings from the Star Chamber. The project name Witch ended up being used by a later J Mascis band..creating the need for Todd Parker and the Witches to be created.
